Suffering and torment, violence and depravity of mankind -- in case ya forgot about that stuff -- "Devil King of the Sixth Heaven" by Enthraller brings to life visions of hell on earth and the existence of truly demonic entities in ways that are a little too believable

This latest work by Enthraller definitely fits into the category of brutal death metal in the fashion of Dying Fetus, Vile, Hate Eternal, Morbid Angel and the like, and like Enthraller's previous effort "Slaves and Gods," "Devil King" plows through ya like a beastly machine with plenty of wicked guitar riffs, pummeling blastbeats and classic death metal growls to satisfy any fan of the genre.

Outstanding individual tracks would be of course the opener "The Devil King," track 6, "Mindless Slaves," track 8, "Avichi Hell," and the Outtro entitled "Kalpa of Decay" (and that's just probably because I like atmospheric instrumentals with soundclips and minimalist vocals)

Enthraller originated in 1996 in Paramount (L.A. County) Calif. and prior to "Devil King of the Sixth Heaven" the band had two self-released full-lengths in 2004 ("Cause Of Suffering") and 2005 ("Slaves and Gods").

The band has had some line-up changes over the years with original members Stephen Bowman on vox and Ray Bowman (Ray-K47) on drums being consistent. Enthraller has been active playing all over the Southwestern United States since the release of "Devil King of the Sixth Heaven" and hopefully will continue to churn out more of the same type of diabolical performances/recordings in the future.
