The score under 19.5 is underweight. You are considered to be healthy if your score falls between 19.5 to 25. Be careful if your score between 25 to 29.9. It means you are overweight. Be very careful if your score is above 29.9, being obese puts you in a lot of troubles.
First of all, if you are underweight, does it mean you are safe? Not so much if you are too thin. It may lead you to osteoporosis and amenorrhea. On the other hand if you are overweight, you might be prone to heart disease, type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis, and some tipes of cancers. The same things go for obese.
Besides healthy weight, waist size is also important. Make sure your waist size is less than 89 centimeeter or 35 inches. If your waist size is more that, the fat accumulated in your belly affects your overall health. It might decrease your immune system and lead to heart disease, diabetes, even some cancers.
Don’t underestimate your weight if you find yourself underweight or overweight because it will influence your appearance and your healthy, it might also to your daily mood. Slowly, try to overcome. The easiest way is prepare your own meals. You can control what is good for you and what is not. You do not have time to exercise? Try to move more. Take stairs instead of elevator. Walk more. Studies show walking at least half an hour a day brings dramatical result to your weight.
